Animating characters is straightforward with automatic mapping between Unity’s Mecanim human bones and QTM segments. Just add the skeleton script, set the actor name of the QTM skeleton and press play.

Using a QTM rigid body to set position and orientation of a GameObject is equally easy. Just add a script to the GameObject and set the name of the QTM rigid body.

QTM Connect for Unity also supports movement of any other object in Unity by streaming 3D and rigid body data from Qualisys Track Manager so you can manipulate an object both in and outside the virtual world.

Connect Unity directly with Qualisys Track Manager.

Get a real-time stream of motion capture data in Unity with minimal latency. This makes it possible to drive characters, rigid bodies or any other Unity object.

You can also stream from previously recorded mocap data files (non-real-time).

Skeleton solving

Qualisys provides a robust skeleton solver that lets you solve one or more actors in real-time. Capturing crouching, wrestling and lying on the floor has never been this straight-forward.

By combining skeleton solving with AIM, you can capture advanced setups in a simplified workflow.

FBX export

An FBX is the easiest way to read mocap data in external gaming or animation software. Our FBX files contain characters, skeletons, optical markers and actors.

Time-codes can also be exported in case you need to sync with other data.

Key features

About Unity

Unity is a game engine that can be used to create both three-dimensional and two-dimensional games. Unity includes a range of tools for designing immersive experiences and game worlds, as well as a strong suite of developer tools for implementing game logic and high-performance gameplay.

The game engine also includes a navigation system that allows you to create NPCs that can move around the game world. It is available both on Windows and Mac.
