Qualisys offers a specially designed thin light-weight rigid plastic fixture with four Reflective Markers that can be placed on any segment of interest. Tracking of such marker clusters is less susceptible to noise and thus helps to improve kinematical accuracy compared to traditional marker placement techniques.
A lower body set of clusters includes four pieces, one for each of the main lower body segments: left and right shank and thigh.
An upper body set includes specially designed clusters for forearm and upper arm. A possibility to place the forearm cluster immediately by the wrist allows capturing data of the rotational relations between the forearm and upper arm segments.
