UX Designer with interest in Sports Sciences

Qualisys works with motion capture and develops high-speed video cameras with associated software and specialized cloud solutions. Customers are located all over the world and we are now in need of a UX designer who, together with Product Managers and Developers, designs amazing product experiences and user interfaces.

The Gothenburg office is centrally located overlooking the beautiful harbor. Here you find the entire development chain under the same roof; market input, project management, software development and mechanical and electronics development. Around 50 people work at the Gothenburg office, over half of which work specifically with product development.

About the position

As the UX Designer at Qualisys, you will work in a cross-functional team that focuses on our end-user applications in the realm of Sports Sciences. As Qualisys is a small yet thriving company, you will have substantial influence over your work and personal growth.

At Qualisys, you are expected to have an active part in developing the company and our products. You are expected to take responsibility and you are given the freedom to do so.

You will be a key contributor in creating great product experiences and user interfaces through collaboration with Product Managers, internal teams, and other stakeholders. You will support and lead the organization in best practices and principles of UX to elevate the collective UX knowledge within the organization. You will be expected to develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and design system components.

You have a track record of delivering outstanding designs in challenging contexts and you crave new challenges to hone your problem-solving abilities. You like structure and have a keen sense for prioritizing and organizing your work. You value teamwork and take an active role in constantly improving the team’s performance and well-being.

You have:

• Solid experience as a UX Designer
• Strong UI Design and UX Research skills
• Working proficiency in English (Swedish is bonus)

Also admirable:

• Interest in Sports Science and the workings of the human body
• Previous experience in product-based environments
• Proficiency in front-end web development, specifically JavaScript
