High-speed and other cameras
Record video data, including audio, together with the motion capture data directly in Qualisys Track Manager. Use high-speed cameras from Point-Grey or other video devices.

The Grasshopper
The Grasshopper (FireWire) digital camera line offers a large selection of high resolution, high sensitivity sensors and an ultra fast 800Mb/s digital interface. The cameras are designed to deliver high-resolution images at high frame rates. QTM supports any of the Grasshopper models from Point Grey. However the GRAS-20S4M/C and GRAS-03K2M/C models are recommended. If you want to use another model please contact us beforehand. Video and web cameras
The video capture of video and web cameras starts and stops in synchronization with the motion capture. Synchronization is made via DirectShow and therefore exact synchronization cannot be guaranteed. It is, however, within a quarter of a second. Please be aware that recorded video data in QTM is only for documentation purposes and are not used in the calculation of 3D data.
Video cameras (non Firewire)
To run ordinary video cameras, the solution is to use a Blackmagic Intensity Pro card (PCI express) per video camera. The card can capture most video signals as HDMI and component, including various sound sources.

DV cameras (Firewire)
The old DV cameras that had a Firewire output can be used directly with QTM. Any webcam or usb camera that is supported by DirectShow in Windows can also be used directly with QTM.
