Lightweight Markers

Lightweight markers with flat base – 40 mm.

Qualisys offers light-weighted passive reflective markers in different sizes and shapes depending on the application.

The choice of marker size or shape depends on several factors, such as distance to measurement object, size and specific shape of measurement object, choice of measurement points to be captured and type of marker placement. For example semispherical elements 2.5 mm wide can be used to capture the motion of human lips.

Flat base spherical markers with a diameter of 40 mm can be used, for instance, to measure a limb displacement value of a running elephant.

The lightweight markers are made of polystyrene hemispheres covered in special retro-reflective tape also used on running shoes that shine in car headlights. Each package consists of 10 markers.
