Baasys in Barcelona has exchanged their biomechanical video system for a 9 camera Oqus Motion Capture system and the biomechanical software Visual3D
Baasys is a rehabilitation clinic which evaluates injured persons’ restrictions in body movement. The evaluation includes a combination of methods such as 3D Motion, EMG and force analysis. Qualisys developed a new framework within Qualisys Track Manager in order to meet the seemingly contradictive requirements of the project, which included a new improved 3D Motion analysis with advanced biomechanical models and an automatic operator process.
I’m very happy
and satisfied with the progress Qualisys did to fit our needs. It was a great and positive change for us, improving the quality and reliability of our tests, says Dr. Catalina Piqueras, Technical Director.
